Bimba Carpenter is a Filmmaker and Designer based in Boston and interested in Everything.
Bimba Carpenter is currently in a bio 101 class that she should be paying attention to, but is instead writing her (most likely self-obsessed) bio because she misunderstood the focus of the class to be about biography writing.
A now 5’10” woman, Bimba likes to maintain the idea that she is still the little girl she once was by continuing to use her childhood nickname meaning “Baby Girl” in Italian. Unfortunately, this name also ensures a continuation of her childhood habits such as drawing on the walls and researching whether band-aids can cure black and blues (research inconclusive).
Not wanting to feel out of place in a family of architects, designers and musicians, from an early age she had to adapt to her family’s artistic predispositions. As a result, she trains in many art forms including (but not limited to): Film, Design, Visual Art, and Music.
With everything she produces she hopes to share the love she has for art and the joy she has in making it. Life can be wildly scary, but with the right mindset, it can also be wildly fun. She hopes to get you there.
